Taekwondo size guide
Every size in our shop in one place: doboks, head gear, chest protectors, guards, gloves and WayChamp e-socks. Not sure? Send us your fighter's age, height and shoe size and we'll tell you what to order.
Before you start
How to measure
- Height, for doboks: stand them against a wall in bare feet and measure from the floor to the top of the head, in cm.
- Shoe size, for Club and Semi Pro e-socks: use their normal EU shoe size. If their shoes are already a little big, use the size they actually measure.
- Foot length, for Pro 2 sensor socks: stand on a sheet of paper, mark the heel and the tip of the longest toe, and measure between the marks in cm.
- Age and height, for protective gear: kids' and adult sizes overlap, so tell us both and we'll match the size.
- Growing fast? For doboks, going one size up usually lasts longer. For protective gear, a snug fit protects better than room to grow.

Protective gear
Chest protector sizes
Training chest protectors (hogu) run from #00 for the smallest fighters up to #5 for adults, in blue or red. The Kids Sparring Set comes with a size 1 chest protector.
The right size depends on your fighter's height and build, so send us their age and height and we'll tell you which number to order. Shop chest protectors
Protective gear
Head gear, guards and gloves
These all come in XS, S, M, L and XL. Kids and adult sizes overlap, so tell us your fighter's age and height if you're not sure.

Groin guards come in XS, S (junior male), S (junior female), M, L (adult male) and XL. Choose the junior female size for girls. Shop groin guards

This chart is for the Club and Semi Pro e-socks, which are shared between those two systems. Each system has its own socks, so ask your coach which system your club runs.

From the WayChamp Pro 2 manual. Measure the foot from heel to longest toe.

Size guide FAQ
What size dobok should I buy?
Dobok sizes are the wearer's height in cm, from 110 to 210. Pick the size closest to your fighter's height. If they are between sizes or still growing, go up one.
What size e-socks does my fighter need?
Match their normal EU shoe size to the e-sock chart on this page. Between sizes? Message us before you order.
Do Club, Semi Pro and Pro 2 use the same socks?
Club and Semi Pro share the same e-socks, sized by EU shoe size. Pro 2 has its own sensor socks, sized S to XXL by foot length, and Pro uses magnetic-sensor socks, so they are not interchangeable. Check which system your club runs before you order.
