What each item is for
The kit, explained
Sparring dobok
A lighter fighter-cut dobok that sits under the chest protector.
Head gear
Protects the head and face area. Pick blue or red to match your fighter's corner.
Chest protector
The hogu, worn over the dobok. Sized #00 for the smallest fighters up to #5.
Arm and leg guards
Worn under the dobok to protect forearms and shins when blocking.
Groin guard
Junior male, junior female and adult sizes.
Gloves
Split-finger sparring gloves.

Sparring kit FAQ
What does my child need to start sparring?
Most clubs ask for a dobok, head gear, a chest protector, arm guards, leg guards, a groin guard and gloves. Some clubs also use electronic scoring socks. Check with your coach which items your club wants.
Does my club need electronic socks?
Only if the club spars with electronic scoring. Ask your coach which system they use, as each system has its own socks. The size guide is in the shop.
How do I get the right sizes?
Doboks are sized by height in cm. Protective gear runs XS to XL, and chest protectors run #00 to #5. If you are unsure, WhatsApp us your fighter's height and age before you order.
How much is delivery?
€6 by An Post anywhere in Ireland, or free collection in Co. Tipperary. All prices include VAT.
